About Lídia Bonet
Talent Acquisition and Talent Development have been my main professional focus during the last 15 years of my career.
During this time, I have covered all range of positions, from entry-level roles to lately specializing in top-executive roles. Because of my academic background in Engineering, I initially worked mainly with STEM talent (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and later on I expanded to all ranges of disciplines. Of course, because of a decade working at Roche Diagnostics, I have a strong expertise within the Healthcare and Medical Device sectors.
Especially in the last few years, I got to learn first-hand what it takes to move to the executive roles, and which are the set-back that slow down executive careers. I have organized numerous assessment and development centers, observed the performance of top talent, provided feedback and offered career counseling. It has also been eye opening for me to realize WHAT is needed and WHY is needed. I have to say, I learned many things I would have wished to know early on in my own career.
I aim to transfer this knowledge as much as I can, through my work, through this website and videoblog and through the interactions I keep with Academia and Universities. I believe that the more people know these things earlier in their careers, the more people will better steer their professional and personal life.
