During my career, I have been leader of a team reporting directly to me, as well as leader in a matrix, bringing together teams located in Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Hungary, US and China.
We worked in different set-ups and created multidisciplinary mission-based teams when needed.
We wanted to foster a culture of collaboration, and we took the best from the Agile Methodologies (especially SCRUM), Design Thinking, Project Management and Continuous improvement, to create our own ways of working.
And it turned out very well!
It makes me feel proud when, through cooperation across-countries or across-departments, teams manage to bring ideas into reality.
